Experian CheetahMail Relevance Tour Shares Customer Engagement Strategies With Marketing Leaders Across the U.S.
More than 300 brand leaders and industry experts assemble in five major cities for Experian CheetahMail’s largest Relevance Tour to date
New York, N.Y., Oct. 12, 2009 — Experian® CheetahMail®, a global leading provider of e-mail marketing and customer intelligence technologies, today announced the successful conclusion of the 2009 Relevance Tour: Crossroads of Engagement. The third-annual series of client events kicked off in New York City on July 28, 2009, and concluded in Boston on Sept. 15. Cumulative attendance for all tour stops — including Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles — was the highest to date, amounting to more than 300 marketing leaders from the world’s most renowned and innovative brands.
At the kickoff event in New York, David Daniels, vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research, provided the audience with a unique perspective on the state of the e-mail industry, encouraging e-mail marketers to take risks and innovate to effectively connect with their customers and drive relevance in an economic downturn. Attendees also heard presentations by Experian CheetahMail thought leaders as they shared best practices and customer engagement strategies and participated in interactive roundtable workshops on important topics such as e-mail testing, creative best practices and social media.
The 2009 tour went to more cities than prior years, taking into account client feedback about travel and budget constraints that many marketers continued to face this year.
“We always strive to meet the needs of our clients and keep them attuned to the latest best practices, tools and technology so they can strategically leverage the e-mail channel and engage their customers,” said Matt Seeley, president of Experian Marketing Services’ Platforms division. “The Relevance Tour is one of the many programs that we offer throughout the year to facilitate valuable knowledge sharing and build a sense of community among our client base. It’s always exciting to be able to bring together so many great minds and expert marketers. This type of interaction is truly invaluable to the positive evolution of each individual business as well as the industry as a whole.”
“The Relevance Tour was the perfect forum for learning from — and knowledge sharing with — the Experian CheetahMail team as well as others in our industry. I was able to walk away with new tactics that my business can use to improve our e-mail program and increase customer engagement and profitability,” said Elena Cattafi, associate ecommerce for Origins Natural Resources, Inc. “The information presented was done so efficiently. Learning was made fun again!”
