Hunkemöller picks Experian CheetahMail for e-mail marketing

THE HAGUE, 12 November 2008 – After a pitch from four agencies, the international lingerie chain Hunkemöller has decided to use Experian CheetahMail for its e-mail marketing.

Hunkemöller wants to optimise its permission-based e-mail marketing activities and communicate better with the Hunkemöller Member Card holders. Through newsletters and service e-mails, Hunkemöller wants to increase the number of visits to its website and web shop, and also improve its conversion rate.

Experian CheetahMail will first optimise all the e-mail campaigns of the international lingerie chain. Through developing new templates, segmenting the data file and sending out more targeted campaigns, Hunkemöller can increase the conversion rate of its web shop. Besides this, a segmented approach will be used by using purchase information in the web shop.

“Our decision to pick Experian CheetahMail is based especially on the results of the test mail that scored far higher than the other agencies. In addition, the expertise, flexibility and creativity of the team really appeals to us” according to Nadia Schoenzwytt, International Internet Manager for Hunkemöller.

According to Anne Walker, Client Development Manager, Experian CheetahMail is extremely suitable for assisting Hunkemöller in realising its growth aspirations in the shops as well as online. “More and more people are buying online these days. This makes it increasingly more important to send a consumer relevant information, information that is suitable to his or her wishes and profile. Experian CheetahMail's assistance in this regard is excellent, through the planning and design team as well as our campaign and dispatch software.”
