MATTHEW SEELEY

Matthew Seeley is responsible for overseeing the growth and profitability of the Platforms Division of Experian Marketing Services, providing industry-leading list processing, database marketing, email marketing technology and services (CheetahMail), customer data integration (C.D.I.) and digital advertising technologies to enterprises worldwide.

Formerly president of Experian CheetahMail, Matthew brings a wealth of valuable industry experience, technical expertise and thought leadership to Experian Marketing Services. Matthew led Experian CheetahMail to become one of the most profitable and successful email services providers in the industry, and was instrumental in facilitating the company’s global expansion and acquisition by Experian in 2004. Prior to this, Matthew worked for Venture Direct, playing a critical role in developing the Xactmail Network, a permission-based email marketing solution and information network. In addition, Matthew was responsible for building a top performing sales organization while establishing strategic relationships with direct mailers and interactive agencies.

A noted industry expert, Matthew is well-known for his focus on client engagement and technical innovation. He is also an active participant at industry events, speaking on panels and topics relating to digital marketing and brand advocacy. He is a highly regarded media resource with interviews and articles in Forbes, DM News, BtoB, Multi-Channel Merchant, Internet Retailer, Click-z -- among other notable industry trades. Matthew graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hofstra University.

Dr. Frederik Lindberg

DR. FREDERIK LINDBERG
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Dr. Frederik Lindberg brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Experian CheetahMail. As the visionary responsible for all technology and network operations at Experian CheetahMail, he continues to expand and upgrade Experian CheetahMail’s architecture and functionality, while developing and managing an innovative technology team.

Frederik has been programming for decades and has received widespread recognition as the author of ezmlm-idx, a component of the Internet’s most efficient and secure discussion list manager.

Frederik came to Experian CheetahMail after many years as a physician, researcher and professor at Washington University. While there, he headed a research laboratory with funding from the National Institutes of Health and published numerous papers in scientific journals. Frederik has been honored with the highly prestigious Howard Hughes Physician Scientist Fellowship and has lectured around the globe.

Frederik is fluent in Swedish, German and English. He holds an MD/PhD from the University of Umeå in Sweden.

JEFF LUNDAL
VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

As Vice President of Sales, Jeff Lundal leads a team of consultative professionals that leverage their combined experience to help brand marketers from all industries build more sophisticated and profitable customer engagement strategies and solutions through improved data management, measurement and targeting capabilities.

Jeff is responsible for Experian’s Data Management Solutions group which includes Experian CheetahMail, addressable media, list processing, customer data integration (CDI) and database services. As a veteran in the multi-channel marketing industry,

Jeff has over 18 years of sales, marketing and business development experience servicing the retail, financial services, communications, and technology industries and working actively as a client partner to ensure a positive experience throughout the customer lifecycle.  He has held sales leadership positions with a number of renowned marketing services businesses including Responsys, Abacus, DoubleClick and CSC Advanced Database Solutions and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri.

Rachel Bergman

RACHEL BERGMAN
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT SERVICES
Rachel Bergman leads and manages the account management, strategic services and customer support operations for Experian CheetahMail and Experian Data Management Services.  Rachel’s team spans across New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco and is presently over 500 strong.

Rachel started at CheetahMail in 2002 and has grown her team from 20 to over 300 during her 7 year tenure. The Client Services organization manages CheetahMail’s 400+ clients and is responsible for helping clients to grow and maintain more profitable relationships with their customers.

Rachel is an email industry veteran and has spent the last 10 years growing the email programs of some of the most sophisticated direct marketers. Prior to joining CheetahMail Rachel served as the Vice President of Client Services at ClickAction (now Yesmail, a division of InfoUSA), an email marketing company.

Rachel started her career in public relations and then moved on to holding senior sales, business development and client services roles at Snowball.com (now IGN Entertainment) and TheHealthNetwork.com, an Internet property of Fox Networks. Rachel graduated with a B.A with honors in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

YUN-HUI

YUN-HUI CHONG
VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC SERVICES

Yun-Hui Chong has over a decade of multichannel marketing experience, spanning from merchandising, online marketing, website operations, site usability and strategic planning. As the Vice President of Strategic Services, she is responsible for providing strategic insights, industry best practices, and customized planning and integrated strategies that maximize the effectiveness of your customer communications.

Prior to joining Experian Cheetahmail, Yun-Hui held several positions in the retail industry at Spiegel Brands and Victoria’s Secret Direct. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Ecommerce for Spiegel, where she led the strategic direction of the online channel within the organization and spearheaded the expansion of online marketing programs, from customer acquisition to retention program strategies.

Yun-Hui holds a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research and Statistics and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bernard M. Baruch College – CUNY.

Ashley Johnston

ASHLEY JOHNSTON

As the Vice President of Marketing, Ashley has helped build the Experian CheetahMail brand into one of the most recognizable and highly-regarded ESPs in the industry. Ashley’s responsibilities include corporate branding and communications, sales support, advertising and media planning, pr, retention and acquisition program development, sponsor and event management and the corporate website.

Prior to joining Experian CheetahMail, Ashley managed the marketing requirements for 2Bridge, an enterprise portal company aimed at the financial services industry. There she was responsible for successfully building a global brand as they transitioned into new territories. Ashley’s experience includes both business and consumer marketing, and today she is frequently quoted in the press and participates on panel discussions and seminars relating to online marketing and PR.

Melissa Bruno

In her role as Vice President of Human Resources, Melissa Bruno is responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee culture, including attracting, retaining and developing employees, in addition to managing and developing the internal human resources team.

Melissa’s experience in the entertainment, media, Internet services and telecommunications industries have influenced her unique approach to employee development, talent acquisition and talent retention. Prior to joining Experian CheetahMail, Melissa was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at The Weinstein Company, a well established media entertainment company, where she transformed the human resources policies, procedures and processes into a customer service function with a focus on employee development and retention. Prior to The Weinstein Company, Melissa was Senior Vice President for IntraLinks, an Internet service company.  Here she played a key role in shaping the global talent management group during a period of dynamic growth. Prior to IntraLinks, Melissa held several progressive HR roles within various industries. Melissa holds a BS in Business Economics from the State University College at Oneonta.

Ben Isaacson

PRIVACY & COMPLIANCE LEADER, CIPP

Ben Isaacson is responsible for all interactive marketing policy and email deliverability issues affecting Experian CheetahMail and Experian’s diverse marketing services client base. Since 1996, Ben has been an industry leader assisting in the global development of self-regulatory and regulatory policies, guidelines and best practices for the interactive marketing industry.

Some of Ben’s many leadership efforts include serving as a Co-Chair of the Email Sender & Provider Coalition’s (ESPC) Receiver Relations Committee, Co-Chair of the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group (MAAWG) Senders Committee, Co-Chair of the DMA’s Data Steward Council and serving as an Advisory Board Member to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and driving the adoption of Anti-Spyware Principles for the Web Analytics Association (WAA). Ben’s recently published whitepapers include Experian CheetahMail’s “Identifying and Managing Domain-Specific Deliverability” and “Advanced Deliverability Strategies and Solutions.” He has recently published articles for the IAPP Advisor, TrustE, and ClickZ. Recent public appearances by Ben include Inbox, Inbox-Outbox UK, InfoSecurity, IAPP Annual Conference, MAAWG Conferences, Revolution Magazine Digital Conference, Ad-Tech, FTC Spam Forum, and many others.

Prior to joining Experian CheetahMail, Ben led The Isaacson Group, an interactive marketing and e-policy consultancy. His previous roles include serving as the Executive Director of the Association for Interactive Marketing (AIM), a DMA subsidiary which included pioneering numerous self-regulatory practices for the email and online marketing industry. Ben recently received Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) status with the IAPP.

Steve Lomax

In his role as Managing Director for Experian CheetahMail EMEA, Steve is responsible for leading all aspects of the business across this region. Steve has a wealth of leadership experience and a proven track record of growing and managing a number of significant businesses, always with a very high focus on client satisfaction and success.

Prior to joining Experian CheetahMail, Steve held a series of senior positions within marketing services organisations. As a Partner at KPMG Consulting, Steve led a number of the firm’s customer management and marketing services practices, working across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. As Vice President and General Manager for Aspective, a customer management consultancy, Steve built the business from a start-up to one turning over $40m in just four years. Joining ClarityBlue in 2004 as Managing Partner, Steve was instrumental in the growth of its financial services client base; delivering innovative marketing solutions to many of the world’s best-known retail banking brands.

Jude Hudson

As Chief Operations Officer for Experian CheetahMail Europe, Jude is responsible for client growth, integration, and strategic service delivery, working with clients to implement effective integrated communications. Jude has helped establish Experian CheetahMail as an industry leader in Europe since launching in the UK in 2002.

Jude Hudson has over 10 years experience in email marketing within EMEA. Prior to Experian CheetahMail, Jude was Technical Director for e2 Communications, before moving onto European Technical Director at Bluestreak International, both email marketing companies. Utilising his programming experience, Jude was responsible for building applications to assist effective client communications.

Bob Paton

BOB PATON
HEAD OF FINANCE, EXPERIAN CHEETAHMAIL EUROPE

As Head of Finance for Experian CheetahMail Europe, Bob is responsible for leading all aspects of finance across this region. Bob is a Chartered Accountant who trained with KPMG and has a 16-year track record of achievement in growing and managing the finances of a number of significant businesses, always with a very high focus on both EBIT growth and cash generation.

Prior to joining Experian CheetahMail, Bob was Financial Controller with a number of leading FTSE plc’s working in the Financial Services, Retail and Manufacturing sectors. Over the last 16 years, Bob has cultivated strong systems implementation experience and has successfully integrated many acquisitions. Bob has worked for two years in North America and one year in the Caribbean. Bob holds a B.A. (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nottingham.

Katharine Hulls

KATHARINE HULLS
HEAD OF MARKETING, EXPERIAN CHEETAHMAIL EUROPE

As Head of Marketing for Experian CheetahMail Europe, Katharine is responsible for all areas of the marketing mix, including marketing programme and communications management, demand generation, client retention, PR and sales support. Katharine has over 12 years’ marketing management experience, the majority of which has been in IT organisations.

Prior to joining Experian CheetahMail, Katharine worked for software vendor SPSS, where she led the Marketing team to increase lead volumes by 100%, improve lead quality and drive much higher return on marketing investment. Previous to that, Katharine was responsible for marketing communications across EMEA and APAC for a web security company, and before that Katharine held a variety of EMEA and global marketing management roles at industry analysts Gartner.

Katharine has a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University in London and her Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Roy joined Experian CheetahMail in June 2005 to focus on broadening the CheetahMail customer base and adding new enterprises to the client roster. Working in tandem with an extremely talented and experienced sales team, Roy remains very much involved in the day-to-day sales activity, as well as holding ultimate responsibility for delivering incremental new business growth for UK and Ireland territories.

Prior to joining CheetahMail, Roy worked entirely in sales and business development, primarily across marketing services, such as advertising, media planning & buying, branding & communications, PR, direct marketing, sales promotion, new media & digital.

As Head of Client Support for Experian CheetahMail UK, John is responsible for several key teams which include client implementation and integration, creative services, and inbound support.  John has been part of the Experian CheetahMail team since 2002 and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the company.

Before life at Experian CheetahMail, John worked at e2 Communications, which later became Bluestreak International, as a Professional Services Consultant providing full service support for a number of clients utilising the ASP email platform. John holds a B.A (Hons) in English Literature and Media from the University of Leeds.

John Merakovsky

JOHN MERAKOVSKY
DIRECTOR, EXPERIAN CHEETAHMAIL AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

As Director of Experian CheetahMail Australia, John is responsible for leading both business growth and CheetahMail operations in the region.
 
John brings to CheetahMail a wealth of experience in growing an enterprise technology business from start-up to leader in its market. John was a Founder and CEO of Southrock Corporation Limited, Australia’s leading developer of enterprise Human Capital Management software. During 2000, John relocated to San Francisco to open a US office and negotiated business relationships with Microsoft and Spherion.
 
Through intense focus on client satisfaction and technical excellence, he was instrumental in establishing Southrock as the market leader, securing blue-chip corporate customers such as Telstra, AIG, AMP, ING, and Goldman Sachs amongst many others. In 2005 John led the sale of Southrock to Talent2 International, the leading HRO in the Asia Pacific region, and subsequently became their Head of Customer Technology Strategy.
 
Prior to founding Southrock in 1996, John gained a PhD from the University of Melbourne and worked for a number of years as a consultant in the emerging online and digital media sector.
